Punish hard when it misses, then reset the trade. - Clear nearby tentacles before contesting the wave. Fighting inside her setup gives every short trade a second damage source. - Refuse clustered river fights when her R is available. Pull the fight out of her tentacles and re-enter after the zone expires. - Pressure her side lane with ranged damage and wave control. Avoid sending one melee target to duel her inside a stacked wave. - Disengage immediately when she presses R instead of finishing a trapped target. Re-engage after her team loses the forced zone. ## Where Illaoi is weak Exploit these in draft and in lane. - Illaoi needs enemies to fight inside tentacle zones, so disengage turns her strongest moments into wasted space. - Her damage is slow and area-bound, making mobile or ranged teams difficult for her to force onto targets. ## Illaoi counters: questions ### Who counters Illaoi in Top?
