Short, delayed trades stop her from turning your spell back into lane pressure. - Sidestep her E before committing forward. If it misses, punish quickly while she has less control over your movement. - Avoid starting river fights with slow projectiles into her W. Bait the reflect first, then use direct crowd control or close-range damage. - Cleanse marks by disengaging before she can stack and finish with R. Mel needs repeated hits before her execute threat becomes reliable. - Hold your most important projectile until her W is visible or on cooldown. One reflected spell can decide a late fight before it starts. ## Where Mel is weak Exploit these in draft and in lane. - Mel's burst depends on stacking marks first, so quick disengage denies the execute pattern that finishes fights. - Mel's defensive identity is strongest into projectiles, leaving direct dive and flank pressure harder for her to answer. ## Mel counters: questions ### Who counters Mel in Mid?
