## How to play against Wukong

Lane and teamfight rules that hold regardless of your pick.

### In lane and in teamfights

- Crash early waves on your terms so he cannot freeze and force extended trades.

- Track W before committing; hitting the clone wastes your best punish window.

- Avoid tight 2v2s after his first item unless you can burst through his engage.

- Spread before objectives so his ult cannot knock up your whole team.

- Peel the second ult cast, not just the first engage.

## Where Wukong is weak

Exploit these in draft and in lane.

- Wukong's teamfight value comes from clustered knockups, so spread formations make his cyclone pressure much easier to absorb.

- Wukong has to commit through melee range, making revealed clones, peel, and magic-heavy damage punish his engage pattern.
