This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be issued for Baron Buff subscriptions and how the process differs between Stripe and Paddle.
Baron Buff is a digital subscription service that provides League of Legends players with features such as draft recommendations, pre-game guidance, and post-game analysis. By purchasing Baron Buff, the customer agrees to this Refund Policy.
We offer a voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee on the first subscription purchase only.
If this is the first time a customer has paid for a Baron Buff subscription, the customer may request a refund within 30 calendar days of the initial charge. This guarantee applies whether that first subscription was processed through Stripe or Paddle.
If the request is made within that period and the purchase can be verified, Baron Buff will issue a full refund to the original payment method, subject only to the abuse limitations in Section 3 and any provider process required to complete the refund.
This voluntary guarantee is additional to, and does not replace or shorten, any mandatory withdrawal, refund, cancellation, or product-remedy right under applicable law.
Renewal charges are generally non-refundable, unless:
To avoid renewal charges, the customer must cancel the subscription before the next billing date.
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals only. Cancellation does not automatically create a refund for any charge that has already been processed.

These limitations do not restrict a refund or other remedy that applicable law requires.
A refund and a subscription cancellation are separate billing actions. A refund event by itself does not reliably stop future renewal or automatically remove Premium access.
If a full refund is approved under the initial 30-day guarantee:
For a partial refund, overcharge correction, service credit, or goodwill refund, the subscription and Premium access may remain active unless the refund decision expressly says otherwise. Customers who do not want the subscription to renew should also cancel it through the applicable billing portal or ask support to cancel it.
If a customer experiences a persistent technical issue or a material problem that prevents access to the paid features as described, the customer should contact Baron Buff support first so the issue can be investigated and, where possible, resolved quickly.
If a refund is appropriate, Baron Buff will issue one directly to the original payment method.
Baron Buff is transitioning billing providers, so active subscriptions may be administered through either Stripe or Paddle. The checkout, receipt, and billing portal identify which provider applies to a particular transaction.

Customers may also use the "View receipt" or "Manage subscription" links included in their purchase confirmation email or the provider-specific billing portal linked from their Baron Buff profile, where available. For a Paddle transaction, a customer may also request a refund directly through Paddle Buyer Support.

Baron Buff aims to review support requests within 3–5 business days. After approval, Stripe, Paddle, the payment method, and the customer's financial institution may require additional time to return the funds.
Customers are encouraged to contact Baron Buff support before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
A payment inquiry or early warning does not automatically cancel a Baron Buff subscription. If a formal chargeback is opened, Baron Buff may cancel the subscription immediately and revoke access to the relevant paid features while the matter is handled. A chargeback reversal or a dispute resolved in Baron Buff's favor does not automatically restore a cancelled subscription; contact support if the account state needs review.
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes any mandatory consumer rights that apply under the laws of the customer's country, state, or region.
Where applicable law provides refund, withdrawal, cancellation, or consumer-protection rights that cannot be waived or limited by contract, those rights will continue to apply.
Baron Buff may update this Refund Policy from time to time.
The version published on the website at the time of purchase will apply to that purchase, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
