League of Legends patch 26.4 is a champion power patch, not an item patch, and ranked games will feel it in early fights and mid-game teamfights. Graves gets much tankier while fighting for longer because his E now gives more Armor and Magic Resist per stack, so bruiser builds are safer when you are contesting objectives. Hwei brings bigger shields and has his ultimate available more often, which matters in coordinated skirmishes around dragons and Baron.

On the other side, several common fight-starters lose reliability. Braum has a weaker and slower ultimate cycle late, Kennen gets fewer teamfight ultimates, and Zac kills targets more slowly after he goes in. Meanwhile, Annie is simply better at trading in lane and protecting herself or a teammate.

What This Means for Ranked

If you want a safer jungle carry, pick Graves or Udyr. Graves’ E stacks give more resistances, so you take less damage during extended fights instead of having to leave early. Udyr now gets more damage on Q and a larger shield on W, which makes both damage-focused and durability-focused skill orders feel better in real trades.

If your team relies on one-button teamfights, think twice before first-picking Kennen or Braum. Kennen’s ultimate cooldown is now 120 seconds at all ranks, so failed fights cost more time. Braum’s ultimate deals less damage later and comes up less often, so starting fights with R is less available in mid and late game.

Bot lane and support reads: Swain as a bot carry loses kill pressure because his slows and ultimate damage are lower; as support he is still playable, but you will finish fewer kills yourself. If you want a straightforward mid/support pick that wins trades, Annie is stronger now, and Hwei offers more shielding and more frequent ultimates for planned fights.
