No. Baron Buff is read-only. It doesn't touch game files, inject code, or automate anything. It just reads your draft from the League client and tells you what it sees. We follow Riot's developer policies. Riot is always the final authority on what's allowed.

The Connector detects champion select, reads the live draft state, and updates recommendations as picks and bans happen. You'll see counter options, team fit signals, and composition notes in real time — with the "why," not just a list.

The live draft experience requires the Windows Connector. You can still use baronbuff.com on any device for manual draft analysis — but live, automatic champion select tracking needs Windows.

We use Riot's official APIs to train our proprietary machine learning model on millions of matches across every ranked tier and region. The model learns how much each parameter — counter matchups, team synergies, current meta strength, composition fit, and more — actually affects win probability, so pick and ban recommendations are driven by measured impact rather than opinion.

Yes. It ships through the Microsoft Store with a Microsoft-signed binary. It doesn't sit in your tray or run background services. When you close it, it's gone.

Use the Windows Connector as usual. When you enter champion select, click the Mobile Link icon (top right) and scan the QR code with your phone. It opens the AI Coach in your mobile browser and mirrors the same live draft experience in real time — no app install needed.

Use the Champions section: draft notes, matchup ideas, and pre-match plans generated by the AI Coach — so you can study a champion at your own pace and bring a clearer plan into your next queue.
