How to play against Morgana

Lane and teamfight rules that hold regardless of your pick.

In lane and in teamfights

1. Punish W used on the wave by stepping forward before she can threaten another trade.
2. Stand behind minions and sidestep before trading, because Q is her lane's real kill setup.
3. Avoid chasing through jungle corridors where one Q can chain into more crowd control.
4. Force her E before committing your main CC, then swap targets if the shield blocks the first engage.
5. Spread when she walks forward with R so she cannot tether multiple carries.

Where Morgana is weak

Exploit these in draft and in lane.

• Morgana's pick threat is tied to slow linear binding, so minions and lateral spacing blunt her pressure.
• Morgana protects one target from magic crowd control, leaving split threats able to overload her shield choice.
