Analiza patcha 26.5

League of Legends patch 26.5 is a ranked patch about two things: stronger sustained fighters, and weaker early mid-lane control. Lillia clears healthier and gets more chances to start fights with her ultimate, while Volibear can use abilities more often in lane and gets more value from bruiser damage builds. Top lane also gets simpler: Garen trades better and commits to kills more reliably.

The pushback is aimed at champions that control lane and pick targets too easily. Kha’Zix rotates slower and his Q hits less hard, so snowball games are less reliable. Mid lane has more room to breathe because Orianna and Taliyah pressure early waves less, while Mel gains real kill threat in skirmishes without getting much better at clearing minions.

What This Means for Ranked

If you want a safer jungle plan: pick Lillia. Her passive healing against monsters now scales harder with Ability Power (9% to 15%), which means she finishes clears with more health and can contest river fights more often. Her R cooldown is also lower (150/130/110 to 140/120/100 seconds), so you will have more chances to start a teamfight around dragons and Herald.

If you are choosing between aggressive junglers: think twice before defaulting to Kha’Zix. He lost 5 move speed (350 to 345), which means arriving to fights and escaping after a kill is harder, and his Q bonus AD ratio is lower, so isolated targets survive more often. If you still want gank pressure, Volibear is much easier to play in long fights now because his W and E cost less mana, and his W bonus damage scales harder with bonus AD. Neeko is also less annoying around objectives because her clone is available less often for scouting.

For mid and top champion select: Garen is a stronger blind pick because his Q move speed lasts longer early, so he reaches trades more reliably, and his E deals more damage with attack damage builds. Mid lane is less dominated by repeated early wave control: Orianna has a longer Q cooldown early, and Taliyah does less base damage on Q to minions, so more opponents can trade back and roam. If you want direct kill pressure in fights, Mel is the clearer winner this patch because her Q and R base damage are higher.
