How to Play Kha'Zix
Champion-specific pre-match tips
Gameplay tips on Summoner's Rift
Lane Phase
Duck into an unwarded brush after your initial trade to reset your passive, then re-engage with an empowered auto-attack to maximize your early burst.
Lane Phase
Pull enemies away from their minion wave before committing to an extended trade to ensure your Q benefits from the isolation damage multiplier.
Lane Phase
Select your level 6 evolution based on the game state: upgrade Q to dominate isolated fights, or upgrade your ult to drop aggro and reposition during skirmishes.
Mid Game
Delay your E cast when flanking a skirmish until the target uses their mobility spell, using your ult instead to close the initial gap.
Mid Game
Cast W into fog of war at choke points before face-checking contested objectives to scout for enemies and apply a slow from a safe distance.
Mid Game
Evolve E at level 11 and hold your leap until a target drops into your Q burst range, allowing you to secure the kill and immediately jump out with the reset.
Late Game
Poke continuously with an evolved W before a major objective fight breaks out to heavily slow grouped enemies and force out their healing resources.
Late Game
Wait on a flank out of vision until the enemy team formation splits during an engagement, then target the newly isolated backline carry with your E and Q.
Late Game
Activate your ult immediately after bursting your primary target to drop enemy targeting, stalling safely until your Q cooldown refreshes for your next strike.

Gameplay tips in Arena
- Create isolation by approaching from the opposite side of your partner. Use R between attacks to drop focus, and keep E for the confirmed takedown reset unless escape is mandatory.
- Build Youmuu's Ghostblade, Serylda's Grudge, The Collector, and Duskblade of Draktharr. Lethality and missing-health damage reward the isolated target; do not jump first into both opponents.
- Prioritize Vanish, Thread the Needle, Executioner, and Contract Killer. Stealth and execute augments preserve isolation long enough to trigger the reset.
