How to play against Zeri

Lane and teamfight rules that hold regardless of your pick.

In lane and in teamfights

1. Stand behind minions to reduce clean Q access, then punish when she steps up to last-hit.
2. Pressure her before she reaches wall angles; open lane trades make E less reliable.
3. Control walls around objectives; her E turns terrain into escape and re-entry.
4. Start fights before she can stack R movement, or disengage until it falls off.
5. Lock her down after E is used; chasing before that gives her the angle she wants.

Where Zeri is weak

Exploit these in draft and in lane.

• Zeri needs movement speed and wall angles to extend fights, so early lockdown stops her from ramping.
• Zeri's damage is sustained rather than instant, making burst threats dangerous before she can kite through a fight.
