How to play against Jax

Lane and teamfight rules that hold regardless of your pick.

In lane and in teamfights

1. Keep the wave on your side before level 6 so his all-in has less room.
2. Stop attacking during E and punish after the stun window ends.
3. Save mobility for his Q or E instead of using it to start fights.
4. Answer split pushes with numbers only after forcing his teleport or showing your team can start Baron.
5. Force decisive 5v4 objectives when he shows in a far side lane.

Where Jax is weak

Exploit these in draft and in lane.

• Jax needs repeated melee access to take over fights, so disengage and spacing delay his scaling threat.
• Jax has one main defensive window; after it ends, focused crowd control can punish his dive.
