Her R damage is also higher at rank 1 and 3, which means your first full combo takes a larger chunk of enemy health during bot lane fights and early dragons.

If you play bot lane carries, respect Kalista and reconsider Veigar bot. Kalista’s Rend stacks scale harder with her total attack damage, so she wins more all-ins when she gets multiple spear stacks. Veigar’s R cooldown is 120 seconds at rank 1 now, so he gets fewer early kills from repeated ult usage and has less pressure after the first fight.

If your plan is “protect the ADC,” adjust your picks. Karma gives smaller Mantra E shields in midgame, and Nami’s W loses more value per bounce, so you must choose healing or damage more carefully in lane.
