How to play against Ahri

Lane and teamfight rules that hold regardless of your pick.

In lane and in teamfights

1. Punish her when Q or E is down by stepping forward for the next wave. Keep trades short enough that she cannot reset spacing with W.
2. Hold side-to-side movement until she aims E instead of walking straight back. Missing E leaves her lane trade and gank setup exposed.
3. Track her ult charges before entering river or fog. Force her to spend a dash defensively, then re-enter before E returns.
4. Group with enough spacing that one E cannot start a full pick chain. Collapse after she misses it rather than chasing through narrow paths.
5. Protect your carries until her ult is spent. Turn immediately if she uses a dash forward without E available.

Where Ahri is weak

Exploit these in draft and in lane.

• Ahri's kill pressure depends on landing one pick tool; grouped teams and minion cover blunt her threat.
• Her damage is rotation-based rather than sustained, so durable targets survive the combo and force disengage.
