How to play against Kennen

Lane and teamfight rules that hold regardless of your pick.

In lane and in teamfights

1. Keep the wave coming toward you and give up minor CS instead of eating repeated autos.
2. Punish reset attempts by hard pushing the next wave when he leaves lane low.
3. Track his flank routes before objectives; he needs fog or Flash to make R hit multiple targets.
4. Fight after he shows in a side lane or spends R, not while he is missing near river.
5. Spread before walking into choke points so R cannot stun your whole team.

Where Kennen is weak

Exploit these in draft and in lane.

• Kennen's biggest value depends on multi-target ultimate access, so spread formations and controlled flanks blunt his engage.
• Kennen is fragile after committing into the enemy team, making failed engage angles hard for him to survive.
