How to play against Talon

Lane and teamfight rules that hold regardless of your pick.

In lane and in teamfights

1. Dodge the return hit of W before committing to trades; fighting after both hits gives him his burst setup.
2. Crash waves when he recalls or roams, then ping the target lane before following.
3. Ward over walls and jungle exits, not just river brush, because E lets him skip normal paths.
4. Hold self-peel for his flank instead of spending it to help a teammate poke.
5. Avoid starting Baron with dark flanks behind the pit; clear wall angles before committing damage to the objective.

Where Talon is weak

Exploit these in draft and in lane.

• Talon relies on fog and terrain to bypass frontlines, so deep vision makes his engages predictable.
• Talon's burst is single-target and physical, leaving him weaker against grouped teams that survive his first combo.
