How to play against Rengar

Lane and teamfight rules that hold regardless of your pick.

In lane and in teamfights

1. Keep waves away from brush when he is missing so he cannot start a jump chain from fog.
2. Trade aggressively only when he shows elsewhere; otherwise slow push and preserve a safe retreat path.
3. Move through warded jungle with teammates after outer towers fall; isolated rotations are his easiest picks.
4. Path away from nearby brush when his R warning appears, then collapse toward your tower or team.
5. Group carries around peel before objectives so his R cannot delete one isolated target.

Where Rengar is weak

Exploit these in draft and in lane.

• Rengar needs brush, fog, or ultimate access, so grouped vision control denies his clean leap angles.
• His assassination pattern is front-loaded, making protected carries and immediate crowd control punish failed one-shots.
