How to play against Syndra

Lane and teamfight rules that hold regardless of your pick.

In lane and in teamfights

1. Step forward after she uses Q on the wave and pressure before the next cast. Hold your engage until E is down or angled poorly.
2. Bait her waveclear from fog, then move first to the objective while her stun threat is unavailable. Avoid walking through narrow river paths where Q-E controls the entrance.
3. Spread so her stun cannot start a multi-target burst. Force her to use E defensively, then commit before it returns.

Where Syndra is weak

Exploit these in draft and in lane.

• Syndra controls space through spheres but has no mobility, so flank pressure can collapse her casting room.
• Syndra's burst is frontloaded into setup spells, making her weaker when enemies survive the first rotation.
