How to play against Vex

Lane and teamfight rules that hold regardless of your pick.

In lane and in teamfights

  1. Concede level one if needed and wait for level two or three before forcing trades.
  2. Avoid dashing into her while passive fear is ready; poke or bait it out first.
  3. Ping her roam target early when she gets push priority, then back away before she arrives.
  4. Commit all-ins only after passive fear is spent, because it can stop your first engage completely.
  5. Spread behind the frontline so her R reset cannot chain through clustered carries.

Where Vex is weak

Exploit these in draft and in lane.

  • Vex punishes dashes well but has less control over teams that approach slowly from range.
  • Vex commits her body when following her ultimate, making failed resets dangerous against grouped peel.
